One of the activities in reading groups was 'Open Minded Portraits' where you read a book, choose a character and open their mind. I read a book called a 'Diary of a Wombat'. It was about a wombat that did everything it could to get a carrot or just some oats. You had to answer questions about the character that you chose. What are they thinking? What problems did they face? The questions they had? and their emotions, attitudes, motives?.
I'm reading a book called 'War Horse' by Michael Morpurgo.It is about a horse that goes into war to fight with the soldiers.The horse does remarkable things and finds himself in all different places, but it is cruel how some people treat the horses.

This book is about four girls (Lexi,Michi,Mia and Aylsha) who were in primary school together and then move up to high school. The girls are terrified. They always used to get together in Mia's garage in pink HQ. They call it that because they all love pink. After a while there are a few bumps in the road.

I enjoyed being able to work with Georgia and finding new things.
What was your biggest challenge? When our original copy wouldn't let us in,we had to start again.
